Billing & Credits

How are credits calculated?

Our credit system is tied to GPU compute time.

• Images: ~0.5 to 2 cents per image equivalent.
• Video: ~10 to 50 cents per video equivalent. Complex models (like Sora 2 or Veo 3.1) require massive H100 GPU clusters, hence the higher credit cost compared to simple SDXL images.

Do my credits expire?

• Subscription Credits: Reset monthly. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month on the Standard plan. Pro plans may offer rollover.
• Top-up Packs: Credits purchased as "Add-ons" never expire as long as your account is active.

Can I get a refund?

We offer refunds for technical failures (e.g., if the generated video is black or the server errors out). However, we cannot refund credits for "aesthetic disagreement" (e.g., if you simply don't like the creative style the AI chose). AI generation is inherently probabilistic.

Usage Rights & Licensing

Commercial Ownership

Paid Users: You own 100% of the Intellectual Property (IP) rights to the assets you generate. You can use them for:

• TV and Digital Advertising.
• Reselling as stock footage.
• NFTs and Digital Art.
• Merchandise.

Free Tier Users: Assets are licensed under CC-BY-NC 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial). You must credit ArtCreate.ai and cannot use them for revenue-generating projects.

Copyright & Liability

AI copyright law is evolving. Currently, ArtCreate.ai transfers all its rights to you. However, you are responsible for ensuring your inputs (uploaded images/lyrics) do not infringe on third-party copyrights.

Technical Support

My generation is stuck on "Processing".

• Cause: High GPU congestion.
• Solution: Most jobs finish within 5 minutes. If a job takes longer than 15 minutes, the system will automatically mark it as failed and refund your credits.

The video quality looks low.

• Check that you are downloading the Upscaled version if available.
• Ensure your prompt included "high resolution, 4k, sharp focus".
• Some models (like current open-source video models) naturally have softer textures than static images.
